Madeline in Lincoln Park

I had the best time meeting Allison, Nicholas, and their beautiful baby girl, Madeline, last Saturday. Madeline was a complete star, showing off her 10 month-old crawling and standing skills, and giving me the sweetest smiles! Oh my goodness, she has the most gorgeous blue eyes. And I love how she playfully stuck her tongue out as she mugged for my camera! My own baby Mae was notorious for doing the same thing, so it only endeared Madeline to me, more. It was lovely getting to know you guys. Thanks so much for a wonderful time!

Eleanor, Lila, and Cricket at Columbus Park Refectory

THESE GUYS! It’s always amazing to catch up with Sarah, Eric, Eleanor, Lila, and their adorable pup, Cricket. This year, thanks to expert scouting by Sarah and Eleanor, we explored Columbus Park Refectory together on a gorgeous, bright, cool morning. What a beautiful place! We had a lot of laughs as the girls climbed trees, skipped, hugged, and mugged for my camera. Top models, per usual. Just stop growing up so fast, ladies, OK?  (You ignored my request from last year, and you’ve grown so much!) You’re going to be taller than me next year, and I don’t think I can handle it. I swear you were infants just a second ago! I should also note that Cricket was a top model, as well…always “smiling” right at the camera, and crying every time we didn’t include her in a shot. You guys are the best…thanks for another fantastic session!

Charlie, Noah, and Asher downtown

It was a hot, humid morning when I met Charlie, Noah, Asher, Jessica, and Jeremy downtown last Sunday. The boys were top models, and we packed a lot into a short amount of time, searching out shade and interesting backdrops together. My favorite was the corridor by the Wrigley Building…gorgeous! Jessica had a vision of urban + color for these photos, which we found in abundance with a nice garden, beautiful planters, and tons of flying flags right off Michigan Ave. Thanks for a great time, you guys! It was wonderful catching up with you five.

Iggy and company at Half Day Forest Preserve

Because it’s all about Kirsten, Gary, Seth, and Lauren’s puppy, Iggy, right?! I had heard good things about one of my favorite family’s new furry addition, and Iggy didn’t disappoint. She was a top model, and so well-behaved, during our session at Half Day Forest Preserve on Saturday evening. Despite extremely bright light and clouds of mosquitoes, she kept us laughing! I was also happy to get to know Seth’s girlfriend, Meggy, who made a few cameo appearances. Thanks for another great time, guys!
