Liam and Maggie: Downtown Libertyville

Ever since I first set eyes on Libertyville’s quaint downtown, I have wanted to use it as a photo backdrop. A few weeks ago, I had the perfect opportunity. Enter Sarah and her beautiful family. Sarah recently launched a new website, Libertville Area Moms, which is part of The Local Moms Network. The site is a resource for busy parents in and around the town to keep updated about new businesses, local events, area reviews, and make a true connection with their community. I think this is such a terrific and exciting idea, and after meeting Sarah, I know she’s the perfect person to launch this chapter of the Network. I was especially thrilled when Sarah asked me to take some updated photos for her family, and I immediately suggested shooting on Milwaukee Ave. It was a chilly, overcast day, and Liam and Maggie were complete stars as we scored a quick session just shortly before a blizzard started! I am so happy we captured these holiday moments, and I am excited to shoot with this sweet family again, hopefully on a warm and sunny day! Thanks so much for a fun time, Sarah, Ryan, Liam, and Maggie. Happy Holidays!

Colby and Alexandra’s Rockin Holidays

Colby and Alexandra’s reward for cooperating with “more traditional” (although as you can see, with these two top models’ awesome moves, nothing is ever really “traditional!”) family holiday photos? We got to shoot their “rock star album covers” at the end of our session. Oh my goodness…we may have had a little too much fun! Love this family so much. Wishing you peace and joy in 2019, Stefanie, Chase, Colby, and Alexandra.

Ben and Abby: Merry and Bright

STOP! Cuteness overload! The weather was freezing and wet and dark on the morning of our session together, but Abby and Ben were fantastic sports, and didn’t hesitate to take some cuddly family photos indoors at their home. We had a great time together. I hope you have a fantastic holiday with your awesome kiddos, Kate and Kai! It was wonderful to see you four again.

Emily, Joshua, and Benjamin

It’s hard to believe, when I look at this picture of Emily, Joshua, and Benjamin, that I first started taking their photos nearly a decade ago when they were little tikes and toddlers. Now they’re nearly all taller than me (I know that’s not saying much, but I can’t believe it!). One thing that never changes from year to year is they are still three of my all-time favorites! Even Harry the dog decided to mug for my camera this year (which is quite an honor, I assure you). I love our annual shoots, Lauren and Andy! It’s been such an honor to watch your family grow up. Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, Isabel and Jude!

It’s holiday card season! Sending and receiving cards is one of my favorite holiday traditions. I get so excited to check my mailbox every day in December to see so many smiling faces. While I’m hard at work, trying to get sessions edited and out to my clients ASAP so they can spread the cheer, I still want to share a few warm and fuzzy shots here with all of you.

It was fantastic to see Isabel and Jude for a quick holiday session this past weekend. Their puppy pal, Rosie, also did a great job mugging for my camera. I already can’t wait to see this family again when the weather warms up for some family shots! Hope you have a Merry Christmas, Molly, John, Isabel, and Jude!
