The “Speedy” Family

It happens very frequently through my job that I meet families who end up becoming more than just clients over the years. I get to know them as friends, I watch their children grow up, we share life’s highs and lows together during our sessions, and look forward to catching up each year. It’s my greatest joy and honor as a family photographer. Coach Speedy has a similar job, a career of caring and connecting, and that’s how I’ve been lucky to get to know him and his gorgeous family. Mae and I have LOVED taking JellyBean Sports classes with Coach Speedy. They are the best kid classes we have participated in, and I can’t say enough about how his young athletes adore Coach Speedy. I was thrilled to have the chance to meet his lovely wife, Angelica, last weekend, and their two sweet, darling children, Sofia and Noah. We had SO MUCH FUN during our session together at Independence Grove. I couldn’t get enough of this awesome family. Thanks so much for hanging out with me. And I hope to see you soon in class, Coach!

Leo in Lincoln Park

It’s LEO! This little cutie has grown so much since I saw him last winter. He was full of smiles and energy as we explored Lincoln Park together on a gorgeously overcast, cool morning last Saturday. Such a cute, fun family. Thanks for a great time Lucy, Brian, and Leo! It was wonderful seeing you three again.

Evan and Avery at Independence Grove

This family and I go back a long time. Just about to the beginning of my business. It’s been such a pleasure watching Evan and Avery grow up. Literally. I am pretty sure they will be taller than me next time I see them! (I know…it doesn’t take much. But, still…they were babies when I first met them, so it’ll be surreal if I have to use a stepstool to photograph them as teens!) they are funny, smart, genuine guys, who have perfected the art of the brotherly headlock. I just couldn’t get enough! It was wonderful catching up with you, Diana and Eddie! Thanks for a great time.

Lincoln is 9 months old!

It’s LINCOLN time! I just can’t get enough of this little cutie, and it’s been such a pleasure seeing him every three months for his first year milestone photos, just like I did with his big sister and brother. It’s such a special time, and I absolutely love getting to watch these three kiddos grow and change. I honestly can’t believe that his one year session is on deck already! How is that even possible, Hollye and Mike?! Grau Mills was a perfect backdrop for this set of photos, and Hadley, Paxton, and Lincoln were all stars, as usual. Already can’t wait for our next session together…thanks, guys!
