Happy Birthday Gabriela!

It’s hard to believe that my little friend, Gabriela, is already one! Mike and I had a great time last Saturday celebrating with Gabi and her excited mom and dad. Sarah had made some seriously adorable birthday decorations and we had a great time joining in on the festivities. Thanks for a great time, Sarah and Brandon!

Just beautiful!! Gabi, you are getting so big. Miss you!!

Welcome!

I’m finding it very hard to believe that it’s been nearly 4 years since I first started the JSP blog. Also hard to believe? I’ve wanted to upgrade it pretty much from day one and it’s taken me this long to do so. That’s mostly due to the fact that JSP has exceeded all of my expectations in such a ginormous way, and my little business’s rapid growth has kept me too busy to breathe most days, let alone remodel. Until now. Dust off the yellowed and tattered photography wish list and cross that puppy off. My first 2012 resolution…check! I’m not going to lie…that feels great. I’m so happy with this blog. It’s not perfect and there is definitely still tweaking to be done. But when it all comes down to it, it’s everything I’ve been envisioning for JSP. It feels more “me” and it’s a thrill to see my dream coming to life in this way. I’m also fairly impressed that Mike and I could actually figure out WordPress enough to make it work…especially after some ridiculous antics with the spam filter blacklist. But that’s another story for another day. For now, I’ll just take a moment to get excited about all of the great shoots I already have planned for this year and all that are still to book. I’ve already enjoyed so many wonderful moments with my clients, some crazy Spring-like temperatures, adorable new babies, kiddos who are growing like weeds and happy, glowing families. What a way to kick things off!

I still have March and April sessions available (although weekends are starting to go fast!) and am starting to book summer sessions through July, so contact me if you are interested in getting something on the calendar.
