What a sweet baby Nicholas is. Mike and I had a great time last Saturday morning getting to know him and his parents. He giggled and smiled and showed showed us a few of his favorite toys and top model poses. It was so nice meeting you, Erin and Dan. Thanks for a great time.
I’ve never seen such intense concentration in a two-year-old before. Colby is fascinated by his Mickey Mouse cartoons. The shear contentment these cartoons bring him is truly amazing. When on intermission from the show, Colby played his guitar for me, expertly singing his ABCs, while his little sister, Alexandra, showed me her best top model looks. She really has the whole “smile with your eyes” thing down pat and couldn’t be any cuter. Even though it was incredibly windy and a little chilly that day, we managed to pry Colby away from Mickey for a few minutes and took a fun walk outside. It was great meeting you, Stefanie and Chase!
Spark is a fast-growing, dynamic organization of dedicated people who seek to strengthen America’s communities by providing apprenticeships to youth in underserved areas across the country. Last Wednesday evening, I had the honor of taking part in Spark Chicago’s inaugural Sugar Rush event. It was a fantastic evening filled with desserts from top chefs from around the city, lots of laughter and many generous hearts. Spark Chicago had a sell-out crowd of more than 300 people and celebrated a hugely successful evening. A big thank you to Sarah and Chris and the rest of the Spark team for having me be a part of it all.
I honestly don’t think it’s possible for my little friend, Sean, to get any cuter. Seriously. Oh. My. Goodness. He was full of smiles when we saw him two Sundays ago and rocked several outfit changes that made my heart skip a beat. It was amazing to capture some of Sean’s favorite 6 month activities: playing with his favorite toys, reading with mom, hanging out with dad, eating his new found favorite pureed fruits and veggies. It was great seeing you again, Marlen and Sean!
Our little friend Annabelle started our session together last Saturday by giving us her best serious look. She was fixated on Mike, for whatever reason, this time around, and wouldn’t take her eyes off of him. In the end, he won her over and Annabelle gave us her top model smize. She just gets cuter and cuter, this little one. It was great seeing you again, Elizabeth and Kyle! Thanks for a great time.
